After earning his degree, he entered the dynamic world of communication agencies, a space that helped him sharpen his creative eye and develop a refined artistic sensibility. Yet the pull of pure artistic creation soon became impossible to ignore. This led him to open his own studio in Casablanca—a sanctuary of experimentation and freedom, where he transforms his inspirations into vibrant paintings and sculptural works.
We met Faical at Dar Izza in Marrakech during his latest exhibition. Curated by Aicha Benazzouz and Natasha Cox, the showcase brings together newly commissioned works from Yassine Chraibi and Faical Adali. Though visually distinct, their pieces converge in a shared exploration of how systems of power, belief, and identity are constructed, embodied, and reimagined. Faical’s universe will also be familiar to many: his vibrant pop-art inspirations and signature visuals have appeared on the Tartar’s stage at the Moga Festival and at Jazzablanca, where his work continues to shape the cultural and artistic atmosphere of Morocco’s most iconic events.

Each piece becomes a journey between past and present, rooted in Morocco’s rich cultural heritage—its motifs, symbols, and ancestral traditions—reinterpreted through contemporary artistic techniques. The work creates a continuous dialogue between traditional craftsmanship and modern innovation, transforming every creation into a new exploration. These compositions act as bridges, linking history to the future, paying tribute to the country’s heritage while embracing the boundless possibilities of innovation.
